Upgrade an older single-DIN head unit quickly with the JVC KD-X280BT. Its short chassis and all-digital design allow installation without cutting or modifications while adding Bluetooth and modern digital media playback. Power is rated at 50-watt maximum x 4 channels output power and the unit provides 3 pairs of 2.5-volt preamp outputs for easy speaker and subwoofer hookup. The VA LCD display features a red key color and music sync effect; Spanish text-display compatible. Bluetooth supports audio streaming and hands-free calling, and 2 phones can be connected all the time for music streaming, answering calls, or providing route guidance without needing to alternate phone connections when in use. A front USB port plays MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, and FLAC files and also offers 1.5-amp high-current charging; an Aux input is included for non-Bluetooth sources. Additional features include compatibility with the JVC Remote app, an AM/FM tuner with 18 FM/6 AM presets, and JVC K2 Technology for expanded frequency range and restored high-frequency detail.
