Stay connected safely: Apple CarPlay lets you use your iPhone with voice via Siri or by tapping the receiver’s display to get Apple Maps directions, place calls, check voicemail, send and receive texts, and stream music from Apple Music or third-party services such as Pandora and Spotify. Android Auto is also supported, providing a distraction-reducing interface so you can keep your focus on the road. This DVD receiver also includes Bluetooth connectivity and HD Radio for expanded audio options. KENWOOD’s multimedia platform pairs an easy voice-controlled interface with a large touch display and refined audio performance. Use Google Maps or Waze for turn-by-turn navigation. For camera flexibility and enhanced safety, the receiver provides 4 camera inputs — allowing connections for a front camera, a KENWOOD dashboard camera (DRV-N520 sold separately), plus rear and side (blind spot) cameras. Other setups are possible too, for example two side cameras combined with a front camera and a reverse camera. The DNX997XR uses an electrostatic capacitive touch panel and a high-definition LCD with high luminance white LED backlighting to deliver vivid colors, strong contrast, crisp detail, and very responsive touch operation. The screen is a 6.8" widescreen (16:9) electrostatic capacitive touchscreen LCD with a high resolution of 1280 (H) x 720 (V) x RGB, totaling 2,764,800 pixels. High-Resolution Audio playback surpasses CD quality, preserving ultra-high and ultra-low frequency detail to provide a richer, more immersive listening experience.
