After insertion the computer automatically joins the unit’s WiFi network and links to the KD-BYOD4K — users simply press a single button to start casting. The drive offers dual USB heads (USB-A and USB-C) to support a wide range of devices, and pairing is completed by plugging the KD-BYODFD into any USB port on the KD-BYOD4K; the on-screen display shows status during the brief pairing process.
