Overview: The KD-MLV4x4Pro from Key Digital® is a 4x4 multi-view tiling video processor that lets you display multiple sources on one screen or send full-screen content to any connected display. Use Multi-View Mode with five default layouts or build and recall custom presets; the active multi-view configuration is shared with any display set to multi-view. Seamless operation: Full-screen source changes occur without visible interruption. A built-in UHDoTP Tx with PoC supplies power to the four included KD-EXMLVRx units. Each output provides mirrored HDMI + UHDoTP connections showing the same AV feed, enabling up to 8 simultaneous displays. Audio flexibility: An independent audio matrix allows audio outputs to be routed separately from HDMI and UHDoTP ports. You can select audio from any input even while in multi-view. Audio de-embed provides 6-pin balanced/unbalanced and digital optical outputs. Supports Dolby Digital® & DTS™ formats in 2-channel and multi-channel configurations up to 5.1. Video and scaling: Inputs accept up to 3840 x 2160p 4:2:0 at 60fps; outputs support 3840 x 2160p 4:4:4 at 30fps. Built-in 4K down-convert lets you mix 4K sources with legacy 1080p and 720p displays. Signal extension: Extend 4K/UHD over CAT cable up to 35m (115ft) using CAT5e/6 or up to 40m (131ft) with CAT6A STP. For 1080p, ranges reach 50m (164ft) on CAT5e/6 and 60m (197ft) on CAT6A STP. Layout, overlay and image control: Each window can show its assigned name (16 Characters maximum) with adjustable size and placement. Create custom window arrangements, set bezel width and color, layer images with configurable priority per output, and enable 4K down-convert where needed. Installation and testing: HDCP 2.2 licensed and compatible. Nine selectable built-in test patterns speed setup. IR extension via Rx units lets you control displays, or collect IR from a remote at the matrix to control a source. Control and integration: Manage routing and basic functions through the Web UI from any browser. Control options include front panel buttons, IR, RS-232, TCP-IP, and Web Control. KD-MLV4x4Pro is Key Digital® App Ready (TCP/IP control), KDMS™ Pro and Compass Control® Pro ready, and fully controllable by IR, RS-232, and TCP/IP-supported control systems via open API.
