The Kicker 44CVX124 (Comp VX CVX12-4) 12" subwoofer delivers punchy, controlled low end with wiring flexibility thanks to dual four‑ohm voice coils. Rated at 750 Watts RMS (1500 Watts peak), it offers a sensitivity of 87.1 dB (1W/1m) and reproduces 20 Hz–500 Hz for deep, accurate bass response. Designed for durability and thermal control, this CVX12-4 features a thick polypropylene cone reinforced with SoloKon, a ribbed Santoprene surround with the Signature Double Blue Surround Stitching, and an oversized suspension system. Thermal management and reliability are addressed with perimeter venting, a high temp voice coil, a massive ceramic magnet and UniPlate extended pole piece & backplate for superior heat dissipation. Additional build details include high‑strength insulated tinsel leads, a cast aluminum basket and satin nickel spring‑loaded speaker terminals.
