Driver and magnetic system: The KZ PR1 is built around a newly developed 13.2mm dual-cavity planar magnetic driver unit. It uses an ultra-thin silver-plated diaphragm and an independent acoustic cavity of the N55 double-sided magnetic circuit array system to deliver fast, precise reproduction with extremely low distortion. Frequency range: The headset covers 20-40000Hz, spanning the full human audible band and extending into the ultra-high range to provide detailed, rich sound across frequencies. Tuning options and sound signature: Two tuning variants are offered. The balanced version provides an even, well-proportioned presentation across lows, mids and highs suitable for many music styles. The HiFi version is tuned with a more reference-style approach, emphasizing detail retrieval and a wider sense of soundstage. Construction and fit: The faceplate features a hollowed-out aluminum alloy cover paired with a transparent resin cavity. The HiFi version adds a high-cost electroplated bottom shell for a lightweight yet metallic look and durable finish. The in-ear ergonomics include a 45 ° inclined ear insertion and a 270 ° fit to the auricle for stable, comfortable wear. Accessories: Multiple sizes of silicone ear tips are supplied so users can select the best seal and fit for their ears.
