Large 19.75"H Shri Lakshmi Thirumagal Statue — Hindu Goddess of Prosperity, Wealth, Wisdom & Fortune

Lakshmi (Sanskrit: लक्ष्मी lakṣmī, Hindi pronunciation: [ˈləkʃmi]) is the Hindu goddess associated with wealth, both material and spiritual prosperity, and good fortune; she is also celebrated as the personification of beauty. As the consort of Vishnu, she is commonly referred to as Mahalakshmi and is believed to bring luck while shielding devotees from various hardships and monetary troubles. Sculptural and pictorial depictions of Lakshmi are also present in Jain monuments. She is called Shri or Thirumagal because tradition attributes six auspicious divine qualities (Gunas) to her, and she is regarded as a source of strength even for Vishnu. In the avatars of Vishnu on earth, Lakshmi is said to incarnate alongside him: Sita (Rama's wife), Radha (Krishna's beloved), Rukmini and the other wives of Krishna are recognized as manifestations of Lakshmi. Lakshmi receives daily veneration in Hindu households and business places as the goddess of wealth, and she is worshipped alongside Vishnu in many temples. Major festivals observed in her honor include Diwali and Kojagiri Purnima.
