Overview: Aftermarket LEADSIGN tailgate handle assembly with integrated full-color reverse camera, color: Black. Designed to replace the factory handle and provide a wide-angle backup view. This unit is not OEM and requires a 12V power source for operation. Vehicle Fitment: Compatible with Dodge Ram 1500 (Years 2002–2008). Compatible with Dodge Ram 2500/3500 (Years 2002–2009). (Also listed for Dodge Ram 2500/3500 Years 2003–2009 in some specifications.) NOTE: Not compatible with the original factory monitor. Before ordering, verify your monitor/screen has a Yellow RCA input. Installation & Power: Supplied with a universal RCA video connector for straightforward hookup. Includes video and power extension cable, length 8 Meters (26.2 feet) to reach across the vehicle. The camera can be wired to any DC 12V source — connect to a constant 12V feed for continuous power or to the reverse taillight circuit so it activates only when backing up. Camera Positioning: The camera is angled slightly downward to give a clear view of the trailer ball hitch and rear area for safer coupling and reversing. Imaging & Optics: High-resolution output at 960(H) x 576(V) with 700 TV lines for detailed picture clarity.
