This cover shields the lens from dings and surface abrasions to help maintain its resale value, while also providing a more comfortable grip. Its textured profile breaks up the outline of the lens so it’s less conspicuous to wildlife during shoots. Full access is maintained to the autofocus and VR switches as well as the zoom lock.
