Your valance will clip to the top rail of the blind and extend beyond the window frame and will connect to both 1¼ inch return/side pieces. The ends of your valance and side pieces will be cut at 45° to properly attach at a right angle. | SIZE DEDUCTION | To ensure mobility of the blinds within the window frame and to allow space for the mounting brackets, our team will deduct 1/2 inch from the width ordered. (For example, blinds ordered at 34 inches wide will arrive at exactly 33 1/2 inches wide). | HOW TO PROPERLY MEASURE | 1. 2 1/2 inches of flat mounting depth inside your window frame is necessary for a fully flush installation. 2. Measure the width in three places: top, middle, and bottom. Use the narrowest width when ordering. 3. Round down to the nearest 1/2 inch when selecting the width size. 4. Your blind will arrive with a 1/2 inch deduction.
