Please read before ordering: Important notes about the MateCam X9. App compatibility: Many phones will most likely be unable to run the X9 App — overall compatibility is poor. If you must use an app, we recommend choosing the X7 instead. Phones that may not work with the X9 app include, but are not limited to: iPhone 11, Redmi 9A, Redmi Note 11, Samsung phones, Huawei P30, One Plus phones. PIR behavior: The PIR version powers up quickly when a human body is detected within five meters of the sensing range. It automatically records a single video file of 10 seconds and shuts off when the person leaves. If you need longer recordings, select the normal version. Connection and power: Before buying, note the camera cannot be connected to a home WiFi network. Best performance is achieved with a direct line-of-sight phone-to-camera distance of 1-20 meters. The camera is sold without a battery — please provide your own 3,7V battery. It is normal for the motherboard to become warm during operation; this does not indicate a fault. Firmware and lens modules: Do not apply any firmware updates without authorization, as unauthorized upgrades may render the motherboard unusable. When combining the X9 with different MateCam lens modules, firmware updates are required for proper operation — please contact us after receiving the item to obtain the correct firmware. If you plan to pair other lenses, consult with us before placing the order.
