The Max.A3 employs a dual-lens system: a 10 Mega-pixels main lens for detailed document and object captures, plus a 2 megapixel top lens optimized for portrait shots. It uses a non-contact scanning method so a wider variety of documents and objects can be digitized without flattening. The arm height is adjustable from 30-39cm to accommodate different materials; maximum capture area is A3(extended) or A4(non-extended) depending on setup. Scanning is very fast — click the mouse and the image is obtained in about 1 second for quick throughput. Integrated OCR can recognize English & Chinese and convert scanned images into editable Word-format text, streamlining archiving and editing.
