This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair or data recovery. To confirm that a replacement PCB will solve your issue, please follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many PCBs store unique drive-specific information in the ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct ROM data. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either moving the ROM chip onto the replacement PCB or reprogramming the board with the correct ROM data.
