Mepilex is a foam dressing suitable for a wide range of wounds like venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers or diabetic ulcers. With its Safetac interface layer, Mepilex can be removed with less risk of damaging the wound or the surrounding skin. A new enhanced backing film together with the highly conformable absorbent foam makes Mepilex handle fluid effectively. The safetac technology prevents Mepilex from sticking to the wound bed yet adheres gently to the surrounding skin allowing easy application of secondary fixation. The product is a 4 x 4 inch square adhesive dressing without border, and it is sterile. The product comes in 6 boxes of 5 dressings, for a total of 30 dressings.
