METRA 99-5827B Black Single/Double DIN Dash Kit — 2012-Up Ford Focus

Replacement dash kit for installing a single-DIN or double-DIN aftermarket radio in 2012-2014 Ford Focus vehicles (without MyFord Touch). The bezel is molded from matte black ABS plastic to match the factory dash appearance while providing a durable finish. This kit preserves several OEM controls — including the hazard and door lock/unlock buttons — and maintains some driver display (information center) functions so key features remain usable after installation. Note: a separate wiring harness (and possibly an interface module for steering wheel controls/info center) plus an antenna adapter are required for radio hookup and are not included. When fitted correctly the integrated buttons present a factory-like appearance and have a satisfactory tactile feel; overall build quality is solid for the price. Installation is more involved than swapping a simple trim bezel because the kit is designed to retain OEM controls — read the Metra instructions closely, use the correct wiring harness/interface module, and take care seating all plugs. If a connector or trim piece won’t snap in cleanly, check for interference rather than forcing it. Some installers choose DIY methods to dampen or mask the orange button lighting if they prefer a different look.
