This Miles FG Comtech Clean ISO 46 Food Grade Synthetic Rotary Compressor Fluid is formulated to serve the dual purpose of air compressor lubricant and cleaner. Intended for use in varnished and carboned screw compressors, this fluid is designed to clean without the inconveniences typical of more aggressive cleaners. It is formulated to minimize filter/separator blockage and not disrupt normal operations, eliminating the need for production shifts to take compressors out of service for cleaning and the need to continuously change filters and separators. The fluid provides very good wear protection and good oxidation stability. It has a very high flash point and low volatility, ensuring excellent film strength. This product helps reduce maintenance costs and downtime, and provides very good carbon and varnish control.
