Mini FTTH Active Fiber OTDR with VFL & InGaAs Power Meter — SC Interface, 800-1600 nm, -70 to +5 dBm, 50 km
Compact multifunction Fibre Optique tester combining an active OTDR, stable light source, VFL and a built-in power meter for FTTH troubleshooting and validation. Designed for single mode optical fibers with SC interface connections, this pocket-sized unit delivers lab-grade test functions in the field. Optical power meter: built-in standard light power meter with InGaAs probe covering 800-1600 nm, measurement accuracy 5% and a power range of -70 to +5 dBm. VFL (Visual Fault Locator): red test light at 650 nm with 5 mW output and selectable modulation options 0 Hz, 1 Hz and 2 Hz for easy fault visualization. OTDR capabilities: OTDR module operates at 1550 nm and 1610 nm, using a detector diode avalanche APD. The instrument provides a satellite resolution of 0.6 meters, can detect events up to a distance of 50 km and supports attenuation measurements up to 30 km. Light loss testing covers 0-30 dB with an accuracy of measurement of 10%. Power, size and environment: portable dimensions 12.5*9*3.3 cm; powered by a lithium battery or via power adapter using a Micro USB interface. Battery runtime is up to 10 hours and the unit features an adjustable automatic shutdown. Operating temperature range -10°C to +50°C; storage temperature range -25°C to +70°C. Who it’s for: ideal for network installers, maintenance technicians and fiber engineers who need an all-in-one, easy-to-use tester for precise installation verification, fault location and routine maintenance.
