Active Optical DisplayPort (DP 1.3) cable — 50 feet. Compliant with the DisplayPort 1.3 specification and fully backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort versions, this AOC delivers the spec’s maximum 32.4 Gbps bandwidth. It supports up to 8K@30Hz video (with 24-bit RGB), and also handles 5K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz. For long runs, the SlimRun AV uses optical fiber in place of copper conductors to carry high-speed video signals; it can transmit 8K@30Hz up to 150 feet without extenders or external power. The cable uses a flexible polymer optical construction that is thinner and softer than traditional glass fiber—providing a tighter bend radius and greater resistance to wear and damage. Each of the three high-speed lanes can carry up to 8.1Gbps. SlimRun AV combines what would normally require multiple wires, transmitters, receivers, and mounting hardware into a single fiber optic DisplayPort cable.
