MPPT Solar Boost Charge Controller for Electric Vehicles — 24V/36V/48V/60V/72V
Model choices and when to use them: two versions are available — 300W (standard) and 600W (high-power). Choose based on your solar array power and battery system voltage. The 300W unit is intended for solar input power ≤300W and supports output voltages 24V/36V/48v/60/72V; the default output voltage is 48V. The 600W unit is for solar input power ≤600W and supports output voltages 48v/60V/72V; the default output voltage is 48V. Compatibility with your vehicle charger: you do not need to replace the electric vehicle’s original mains charger interface. It’s recommended to connect the solar charging line directly to the battery — this can operate alongside the original charger without affecting it, and simultaneous charging will not cause reverse current into the solar controller. Limitations and warnings: this controller is not designed to directly drive a motor or power a direct-drive motor. Installation tips: keep the controller at a safe distance from the vehicle’s motor controller and ensure adequate insulation to prevent leakage or interference. When wiring, first connect the solar panel to the controller, then connect the battery to the controller. Double-check polarity to avoid reversed connections of the positive and negative terminals. Finally, mount the solar panel in an unobstructed, well-exposed location for optimal performance.
