Model options and suitability: choose between a 300W standard unit and a 600W high-power unit. The 300W controller is intended for systems where solar input power is ≤300W and supports output voltages of 24V/36V/48V/60V/72V (default set to 48V). The 600W unit is for solar input power ≤600W and supports 48V/60V/72V outputs (default set to 48V). Charging and vehicle charger compatibility: you do not need to replace the vehicle’s original mains charger. Solar charging can be wired directly to the battery while the original charger remains connected — both sources can charge simultaneously without causing backflow into the solar controller. Connection requirements: the solar panel must be connected through the controller to the battery; this unit cannot be used to directly drive or charge a motor. Installation precautions: maintain physical distance and proper insulation from the vehicle’s motor controller to prevent leakage or interference. When wiring, first connect the solar panel to the controller, then hook up the battery, and take care not to reverse the positive and negative terminals. Place the solar panel in an unobstructed location for best performance.
