Multiservice Edge Router with DC Power — 1GE Fixed Interface Concentrator (FIC)

The Fixed Interface Concentrator (FIC) is available exclusively for the M7i and supports either two fixed Fast Ethernet interfaces or a single fixed Gigabit Ethernet interface. The Gigabit Ethernet option requires Small Form factor Pluggable optics (SFP ordered separately). The M7i/M10i use the Compact Forwarding Engine Board, providing an 8.4 Gbps throughput rate (4.2-Gbps full duplex). An Adaptive Services Module is available as an optional accessory.
