Built from durable PE using an advanced blow-molding process, these NALYL weight plates resist wear, cracking and weather-related fading or aging from sun and rain. Each of the eight plates in this 40lbs weight plate kit includes a large-diameter injection spout so you can fill them with water or sand to achieve the needed ballast — note: the weights ship empty and must be filled by the user with sand or water. The open, no-pinch slot allows safe, finger-friendly installation: simply slide a plate onto any tent leg, pop-up canopy leg or patio umbrella support up to 1 1/4” wide. A male-female interlock lets the plates stack securely to boost wind resistance, and the included strap keeps stacked plates together for easy transport and storage. Lighter and more attractive than bulky concrete bases or loose sandbags, these plates are suitable for trade shows, picnics, parties and other outdoor events. The empty 8-piece set weighs only 6 lbs total, making repositioning and carrying effortless.
