NETGEAR GS105Ev2 5-Port Gigabit Smart Managed Plus Switch

The NETGEAR GS105Ev2 is a 5-port Gigabit Smart Managed Plus switch that combines plug-and-play convenience with useful management features. Its Gigabit connections provide up to 2000Mbps of dedicated, non-blocking bandwidth per port for high-throughput needs. Management and monitoring options include a web-based GUI or a PC-based Utility Tool for flexible configuration. For traffic control and optimization the switch offers VLAN support for segmenting networks, QoS for prioritizing traffic, rate limiting for bandwidth allocation, and IGMP snooping v1, v2 and v3 support to improve multicast performance. Network monitoring and redundancy features include port mirroring and port trunking to increase uplink capacity. Reliability and protection are handled with automatic denial-of-service (DoS) prevention, loop prevention and broadcast storm controls. Maintenance and diagnostics are simplified with a built-in cable test. The GS105Ev2 also supports jumbo frames and Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE802.3az) to reduce power consumption.
