The Nikon D780 combines a 24.5MP FX-Format BSI CMOS Sensor with the EXPEED 6 Image Processing Engine to deliver high-resolution stills and strong low-light performance. Video capabilities include UHD 4K30 recording with N-Log & 10-Bit HDMI Out; UHD 4K recording is available using either the full-frame area or a DX crop area in 30p, 25, or 24p frame rates, and Full HD 1080p is supported at up to 120p for slow-motion footage. For autofocus, the D780 features the Multi-CAM 3500 II 51-Point AF System for viewfinder shooting and a 273-Point Hybrid AF with Eye Detection in Live View. The camera offers 7 fps shooting and up to 12 fps in Live View, an extended ISO range of 50-204800, and precise exposure metering via the 180k-Pixel RGB Sensor Exposure Metering. Handling and monitoring are aided by the 3.2" 2.36m-Dot Tilting Touchscreen LCD, and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow wireless file transfer and remote control through the Nikon SnapBridge app. Included in this kit is the AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D lens (F-Mount Lens/FX Format) with an aperture range of f/1.8 to f/22, Super Integrated Coating, and a rounded 7-blade diaphragm — a normal-length prime designed for FX-format Nikon F-mount cameras; its autofocus operation is compatible with select Nikon DSLRs that support D-type lenses.
