About the D850 (key imaging features): The D850 combines very high resolution with fast performance. It uses a newly designed 45.7MP BSI CMOS sensor together with the EXPEED 5 image processor to produce extremely detailed stills and capable video workflows. The camera supports an 8K time-lapse recording mode and includes specialized capture modes for digitizing film negatives and performing focus stacking. Autofocus and viewfinder: Autofocus duties are handled by the advanced Multi-CAM 20K 153-point AF system (first introduced on the D5), which includes 99 cross-type sensors to enhance focusing precision across varied lighting conditions.
