This Closs device expands a single Gigabit uplink into two Gigabit RJ45 ports while delivering PoE power to both downstream devices. When a PoE-enabled network feed is not available, an optional external power adapter can be connected to supply power and convert Non-PoE links into PoE for connected equipment (power adapter not included). Fully 802.3at/af compliant, it carries both data and power over a single Ethernet cable and enables deployment of IP cameras or access points in locations without nearby power outlets. No software or configuration is required for setup. Delivers power up to 100 meters (328ft.)—for best results use 5e or higher cables.
