The OFW OTDR FWT-100 is an active live fiber reflectometer and OPM designed for precise field measurements. It delivers a dynamic range of 20dB and supports a test span from 100m to 80km, providing reliable characterization of fiber links. Operating wavelength is 1550(±20nm), making it suitable for a wide range of fiber systems. User operation is simplified by an intuitive touch screen that lets you switch between real-time, average, and automatic measurement modes and fine-tune pulse width and measurement time to match test conditions. Connectivity uses SC/UPC connectors and the unit supports input light detection for live-fiber testing. Measurement performance includes an attenuation dead zone of 12m and an event dead zone of less than 3m, while detailed analysis is enabled by a sampling point count of 8000.
