Ricoh Imaging PENTAX WG-90 (02145) — a compact, rugged camera built with a waterproof, shock-resistant chassis for use in demanding conditions. It uses a 16 MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor to deliver high sensitivity, low noise performance and high-speed readout of image data. The lens provides 5x optical zoom, and six macro lights are arranged around the lens barrel to illuminate subjects when the Digital Microscope mode is selected, enabling magnified viewing on the LCD monitor. For underwater work, dedicated Underwater and Underwater Movie shooting modes are programmed to enhance color and contrast based on data from images captured beneath the surface. Triple Anti-Shake Protection is provided by the Pixel Track SR mechanism, which compensates for camera shake in still images through digital processing.
