Polaroid Lab Everything Box Starter Kit (4969) - Digital-to-Analog Polaroid Photo Printer
Turn your phone pictures into real Polaroid prints with the Polaroid Originals Instant Lab. This desktop darkroom-style device uses a 3-lens system to project your phone’s screen image onto Polaroid film, where classic chemical development produces a genuine instant photo—no printing or scanning necessary. Use the Polaroid Originals app to add creative options like collages and augmented reality overlays that combine stills with motion. How it works - The Lab’s 3-lens projection system exposes your phone image onto film, then the film’s chemistry develops the image into a Polaroid picture. The process is entirely analog once the image is exposed—100% real film chemistry. Creative features - Collages: Compose multi-frame prints of up to 9 frames using the Polaroid Originals app. - Augmented reality: Layer motion and interactivity onto still photos through the app, integrating digital content with the final chemical print. Film compatibility and notes - Includes Polaroid Originals Standard Color Film for i-Type Cameras and Polaroid Originals Standard B&W Film for i-Type Cameras. - i-Type film is battery-free and designed for i-Type cameras (such as the OneStep 2). Because i-Type cameras supply their own rechargeable battery, there is no battery inside the film pack. Do not attempt to use i-Type film in a 600 camera—it's not compatible. - This new formula delivers richer colors, improved tones, and stronger contrast compared with earlier Polaroid film. Storage and handling tips - Store film chilled (do not freeze). Before shooting, let film come to room temperature—about 55–82°F (13–28°C). - In cold conditions, keep freshly exposed photos warm (for example, in a pocket) while they develop; on hot days, keep them cool. Shooting and developing advice - Instant film performs best with plenty of light—natural light is ideal. Use the flash for indoor shots and Polaroid recommends using flash outdoors as well unless it’s a very bright sunny day. - Newly ejected photos may look blank at first; this is normal. During the initial development period they are very light-sensitive—do not bend or shake them. Shield prints from light and lay them face down while they develop. Keep B&W prints shielded for about 1 minute and color prints for about 6 minutes. Camera care - Inside the film door are rollers that every photo passes through. Keep these rollers clean; if they become visibly dirty, gently wipe them to maintain print quality.
