Overview: The NVIDIA Tesla P40 accelerator boosts compute throughput on HPE systems, shortening runtimes for parallel workloads and delivering faster results. When a GPU is colocated with computational servers, large datasets can be accessed directly, which also improves display refresh rates for graphically intensive tasks. The Tesla P40 is engineered to support rich graphics in virtualized environments. Software and management: Hewlett Packard Enterprise can provide NVIDIA GRID software through the HPE Software Licensing and Management Service. Deployment and monitoring are handled by the HPE Insight Cluster Management Utility (CMU). HPE Insight CMU configures the accelerator, monitors and displays GPU health and temperature, and installs and provisions the GPU drivers and CUDA software.
