The HP4 provides stereo left and right line inputs plus left and right line outputs with a dedicated level control, and it drives 4 headphone outputs with more volume than you’ll typically require for stage or studio work (so watch that level control). The circuitry yields a clean, transparent sound with a wide dynamic range. You can sum the stereo feed to mono, set each headphone’s level independently, and mute the rear-panel Monitor outputs while keeping the headphone outputs active for flexible routing. The compact HP4 sits on a tabletop or can be screw-mounted to a standard rack tray (not included), taking up just 1/3 rackspace. If you need additional capacity, the line outputs can feed the inputs of a second HP4 or the larger HP60 headphone amplifier.
