Make sure the battery voltage matches the inverter DC input. For example, select a 12V inverter for a 12V battery and clearly identify the battery’s positive and negative terminals when connecting. Do not touch the AC output conductors by hand. The battery paired with the inverter can deliver more power than the appliance’s actual consumption. If you extend the battery cable length, double the wire diameter accordingly. 2. Both inverter output conductors are live; there is no grounding provided on the outputs. Do not use either output conductor as a ground. 3. Connect the inverter directly to the load. Do not install an air switch or leakage protection switch between the inverter and the load — doing so will not protect and may damage the inverter.
