Voltage compatibility: the 12V version must be connected only to a 12V battery (normal operating range approximately 9.5V to 15.5V). The 24V version must be connected only to a 24V battery (normal operating range approximately 19V to 30V). Battery type: not recommended for use with lithium batteries — they can easily damage the inverter. Connect to lead-acid batteries only. Safety: do not tie the inverter into the household AC mains circuit. Understanding power ratings: the label on the unit indicates peak power. The inverter’s actual continuous output is half of that peak power. The motor or appliance starting (surge) power must not exceed the inverter’s peak power rating. For continuous operation, the appliance’s running power must not exceed the inverter’s continuous power capacity. Example: a refrigerator with a rated power of 300W can require a start (surge) power up to 2500W. Pure resistive loads such as electric bulbs generally do not have a startup surge.
