Important safety and installation notes: - Do NOT connect this inverter to the utility power grid or tie the AC output to mains. Avoid touching the AC output terminals while the unit is powered. - The battery paired with the inverter may be capable of delivering more energy than the attached appliance consumes; plan wiring and protection accordingly. - Both AC output conductors from this inverter are live (hot) — there is no earth/ground reference provided by the outputs. Do not use either output conductor as a ground/earth connection. - Connect the inverter directly to your load. Do not insert a residual-current device (RCD), leakage protector or similar earth-fault/air switch between the inverter and the load; such devices may not operate correctly and can damage the inverter. - The inverter’s pure inductive-load capacity is 95%. Wiring and cable length guidance: - DC battery cables must be heavy-gauge because the DC current is high. Use the original battery wiring from the battery terminal to the inverter whenever possible. Unauthorized extensions can cause voltage drop and insufficient input current/voltage. - If you must extend the battery cable, the extension conductors should have at least twice the cross-sectional area (i.e., twice as thick) as the original wire. Keep any extension short — it is recommended not to exceed 1 meter.
