Important safety and installation notes: This inverter must not be connected to the utility power grid, and you should avoid touching the AC output conductors. The battery paired with the inverter may be able to deliver more energy than the appliance actually consumes. If you extend the battery cable, the conductor diameter must be increased to roughly double the original size. Both inverter output conductors are live; there is no dedicated ground on the outputs, so do not use either output wire as a grounding conductor. Connect the inverter directly to your load — do not insert an air switch or leak protection switch (residual-current device) in the circuit between inverter and load. Installing such devices inline will not provide protection and can damage the inverter. The inverter’s capacity for pure inductive loads is 95%. The DC output from the battery requires heavy-gauge wiring: do not lengthen the run using thin cable. Use the original wiring from the battery terminal to the inverter. Unauthorized line extensions can lead to insufficient input/current voltage. If an extension is unavoidable, the extension cable’s diameter must be twice as thick as the original wiring. It is recommended that any battery-to-inverter extension not exceed 1 meter.
