Important installation and safety notes: This inverter is not designed for grid-tie use — do not connect it to the mains supply or attempt to tie the AC output to the grid. The AC output conductors are both live (hot); there is no dedicated ground on these outputs, so neither conductor should be used as a grounding conductor. A battery connected to the inverter can supply current beyond the device’s actual consumption, so proper wiring and protection are essential. Do not insert an air switch or leakage protection device between the inverter and the load — placing such devices in-line can fail to protect and may damage the inverter. DC wiring requirements: The inverter draws high current from the battery, so use the original heavy-gauge cables from the battery outlet to the inverter. Extending the battery leads is not recommended; unauthorized extensions can cause inadequate input current/voltage. If an extension is unavoidable, the extension conductor must be roughly twice the diameter of the original wire. For best performance and safety, keep DC cable length short — recommended maximum is 1 meter. Performance note: The inverter’s pure sine wave design supports inductive loads with a capacity up to 95%.
