Important safety and installation notes: This inverter must NOT be tied into the utility power grid and the AC output conductors must not be connected to mains. Both AC output lines from the inverter are live — there is no neutral/ground reference — so never use either output as a grounding conductor. Do not insert an air switch or residual-current (leak) protection device between the inverter and the load; putting these devices in-line will not provide protection and can damage the inverter. Battery and wiring requirements: The inverter’s battery connection carries high DC current. Use the original short, heavy-gauge wiring from the battery to the inverter whenever possible. Do not extend the battery cable with the same gauge wire. If an extension is unavoidable, the extension conductor must be roughly twice the diameter of the original cable, and total extension length is recommended not to exceed 1 meter to avoid insufficient input current/voltage. Performance note: The inverter’s pure inductive load capacity is 95%. The battery supplied with the inverter is capable of delivering more energy than the connected device’s actual power draw; however, correct wiring and installation are essential to ensure safe, reliable operation.
