Do not insert an air switch, circuit breaker or leak protection device (RCD) between the inverter and the load — doing so will not provide protection and can damage the inverter. - The DC battery cabling must be capable of carrying high current. Use the original short wiring from battery to inverter; avoid lengthening the battery lead. Unauthorized extensions can cause inadequate input voltage/current. - If you must extend the battery cable, the extension wire diameter must be roughly twice the original wiring thickness.
