The QNAP TS-832PXU-RP is an 8-bay, 2U rackmount NAS built around an AnnapurnaLabs Alpine AL324 64-bit ARM Cortex-A57 quad-core 1.7GHz processor. It ships diskless with eight 3.5-inch drive bays that accept SATA 6Gb/s and 3Gb/s drives and supports RAID modes including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and JBOD. Memory is provided by a 4GB UDIMM DDR4 module (MAX 16GB). For networking it includes 2 x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 x 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ ports and offers iSCSI support for block-level storage. Expansion and peripheral connectivity are handled via a PCIe Gen 2 x2 slot and 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. Designed for data center racks, the unit conforms to a 2U rackmount form factor.
