The Ricoh GR III arrives with an updated body and pairs a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor with the new GR Engine 6 to deliver high-resolution images as 14-bit DNG or JPEG files, preserving excellent tonality and natural color rendition. This combination supports high sensitivity shooting across ISO 100-102400 to accommodate a wide range of lighting situations. Beyond stills, the GR III can capture Full HD 1080 video at 60p, 30p, and 24p frame rates. Optically, a fixed prime 18.3mm lens provides a comfortable 28mm equivalent wide-angle view with a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture for low-light and creative work. For the first time in a GR model, a 3-axis Shake Reduction System is built in to reduce camera shake and help produce sharper handheld images at slower shutter speeds. Operation and review are handled via the integrated 3.0" 1.037m-dot LCD, which uses a capacitive touchscreen for intuitive control during shooting, playback, and menu navigation.
