Overview: This bundle pairs the RM4 Pro universal IR/RF remote hub with the HTS2 sensor cable to provide room temperature and humidity monitoring plus power over a USB connection. Plug the HTS2 cable between the RM4 Pro and a USB adapter just like a standard USB lead. The BroadLink app will show the temperature and humidity readout for the sensor’s location, and you can create automations (for example: turn on the air conditioner when temperature rises). IR & RF compatibility: Controls over 50,000 IR devices including TV, STB, air conditioners, fans, video recorders and DVD players. RF support is limited to 433MHz fixed-code devices such as curtain/shade motors, projectors and some light switches. This product does not support RF Rolling Code devices (commonly used for gates and pellet stoves) and cannot learn Rolling Code remotes. Programming & learning: If a device profile is missing from the cloud database, you can program devices manually and use button-learning where applicable to add unsupported remotes. Voice assistants & services: Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT via the “BroadLink” skill/service. Pair with Amazon Echo or Google Nest to voice-control IR devices — power on/off, change TV channels, or adjust AC temperature. Siri voice control is available on iPhone. Automation & sharing: Build schedules, timers, scenes and routines to automate IR and RF appliances (for example, schedule your TV to a specific channel). Household members can share control through the app using the invite/join family function. Placement & IR note: Infrared performance can be reduced by obstacles and environmental factors. For reliable IR transmission, position the RM4 Pro closer to the target appliance and keep a clear line of sight to avoid signal blockage. RF & network requirements: RM4 Pro requires a 5V 1A power adapter and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (does not support 5 GHz) for initial configuration in the BroadLink app. Confirm that any RF device you intend to control operates at 433 MHz and is not a Rolling Code product. Generally, remotes that require pairing before first use are Rolling Code. If you’re uncertain, provide the device brand and model for a compatibility check.
