Overview: Rockville PUNISHER Series 15" dual 2-Ohm car subwoofer engineered for competition-level output. Power ratings: Peak Power Handling: 6000 Watts, Program Power Handling: 3000 Watts, CEA Rated RMS Power Handling: 1500 Watts. Motor & voice coil: 3" 4-layer black aluminum voice coils wound with OFC wire (voice coil stable up to 250 degrees celsius). The voice coil windings are made in the USA. Double stacked 246 Oz Y35 magnet provides a high-BL magnetic motor gap for exceptional control. Cooling & structure: Oversized aluminum heatsink ring plus extra thick T-yoke and washers absorb and dissipate heat; vented holes on the T-yoke further enhance heat dissipation. 15mm T-Yoke + 12mm Washer construction helps maintain thermal stability. We use the highest grade black glue that withstands extremely high temperatures so the woofer can tolerate more power than its rating. Cone, surround & suspension: Ultra-stiff black non-pressed paper cone with black stitching for reinforcement; thick foam surround for reduced distortion and improved sound quality. New ultra-stiff PolyPropylene (PP) dustcap is 1.2mm thick. 3 layer spider is made from thick gauge material resistant to tearing even at extreme SPL levels. 1-Way XMAX:29 MM, 2-Way XMAX:58 MM. Basket, terminals & mounting: Cast aluminum basket with black sanded finish, custom rubber boot magnet cover and Custom Rockville Mounting Gasket for an airtight installation.
