The enclosure is constructed from top-quality MDF wood (MDF wood sounds better and lasts longer than particle board) and finished with a high-grade vinyl enclosure covering for a clean, durable look. Cabinet volume is tuned with the optimal air space to maximize punch and low-frequency performance. The 12" high-grade woofer features a paper cone with foam surround, a Y30 grade magnet, and 2 4-layer voice coil to produce very clean, distortion-free playback even at maximum volume. Interior is filled with fire resistant poly cotton, and the sub includes a detachable foam grill.
