Amplifier Overview: The Rockville RPA16 is a professional 2-channel rackmount DJ/PA amplifier designed for high-headroom performance. It occupies 2U of rack space and features an LCD that displays per-channel volume in dB as well as operating temperature. A built-in limiter guards speakers against distortion and clipping. Switchable operating modes include Bridged (combine both channels into one output for subwoofer use), Stereo (ideal for (2) speakers or (4) speakers in left/right pairs), and Parallel (dual-mono output suited for monitor applications where identical output is required from each speaker). A selectable crossover (bypass, 80 Hz, 160 Hz) enables use with full-range PA speakers or dedicated subwoofers. Front Panel, Controls & Protection: The amp provides Channel A & B Clipping Led Indicators and Channel A & B Separate Level Controls. Power, signal, clipping, and protection LED indicators are located on the front. Heavy duty rack mount ears with handles and built-in variable high velocity quiet cooling fans provide durability and thermal management. Computer controlled IC protection circuitry defends against speaker short circuit, thermal over load, and DC over load. A user serviceable fuse (25A, 250V) is included.
