A vented hole on the T-yoke improves heat dissipation while an air-tight high BL magnetic motor gap maximizes motor efficiency. Cone & Suspension: The woofer features a fiber-reinforced, ultra-stiff black non-pressed paper cone with a thick foam surround and red stitching cone reinforcement for reduced distortion and long life. A polypropylene (PP) dustcap protects the voice coil area. Basket & Finish: The cast aluminum basket has a black sanded finish for durability and looks. Custom rubber boot magnet covers protect the magnet and enhance appearance, and a custom Rockville mounting gasket simplifies installation and provides a clean seal.
