Made from styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) for long-lasting durability and superior abrasion resistance. SBR makes a great protective barrier because it can absorb shock, limit vibration, and reduce noise. 50A durometer means that the material is on the softer side and it maintains excellent flexibility. This 1/4” rubber is the second thickest of five available gauges and works best for heavy-duty applications. This sheet rubber is backed with pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) for easy do-it-yourself installation.
