This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for data recovery or hard drive repair, this PCB is compatible with Seagate ST500LM000 / 1EJ162-543 (LVD6, 9147 E) SATA 2.5" drives. Many hard drive circuit boards store unique configuration in the ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for proper drive operation. You must transfer the ROM chip or its data to the replacement PCB. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the procedure.
