This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. We carry a large inventory of these PCBs, so the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery for Seagate 2.5" SATA drives (ST500LT012, 1DG142-070, 0002LVM1, 9147 E). Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to operate properly; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers with orders of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
