Because we carry large quantities of PCBs, the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the image. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Most hard drive PCBs store unique information in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for proper drive operation, so the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
