This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We have a large inventory of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: repair and data recovery for Seagate drives. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will fix your drive by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many Seagate PCBs contain unique ROM "memory" data required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip itself, or its contents, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For customers with orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
